My question is why not. I change my oils at 7500km intervals on my KZTE and am using castrol edge 10W/40 longlife I have clocked 385000 km and the Itsimply just doesn’t sound or feel as diesel-like, with no diesel ‘rattle’ and much-subdued diesel ‘knock’. You can still tell the 2.8 is an oiler, but it’s certainly a lot quieter and smoother at all engine speeds and under varying loads and throttle applications, and makes for a better all-round driving experience.
